First on the Land of pixels  series of top down tilesets. This Laboratory tileset was done because Laboratories are fun!

This set includes 4 types of floors and doors, 3 types of walls and liquids, 3 fx sprite sheets, as well objects that you may expect to find in a modern laboratory.

There is an energy orb that has 2 types of fx and a pipe with 1 fire fx effect. Liquids do have a sprite sheet for movement. And the body floating on the green tube has animation as well!

This tileset also includes numbers from 0 to 9, an elevator , some screens, stairs and more!

The ZIP contains some examples of the animations, and how to put the doors on the walls. Also, the tileset comes in 3 sizes, 16px, 32px and 48px! (The expansion file does not include a 32 px nor 48 px sizes)

As for the license, you can do pretty much anything you need to do on this tileset to fit it onto your game/project.

If you want to help me produce more tilesets, or just to show me some support, my ko-fi is always open for that, and I as a good Colombian girl, I do like coffe.

I hope these pixels in the form of tiles and assets provides you some help for your project!

The new Expansion pack includes new assets, new monsters, new floors and walls, portals and plants!

Is this public domain? Is credit necessary?

it has a  Creative Commons Attribution v4.0 international license, therefore you can do pretty much anything with this and if you want to give me credit, that would be cool :) but it is not mandatory

Could you elaborate on "you can do pretty much anything you need to do on this tileset to fit it onto your game/project except selling it."? Specifically, could this tileset be used in a monetized game? Your wording implies that I can do anything except sell the tileset.

my bad yes, i have to fix that part. License grant you permission of doing anything, i didnt want people to take these tiles and then sell the same tiles as another tileset. But if you want to use them to create a game and then sell your game, of course you can, no problem on my side

Sounds great! Thanks for your quick reply. What's your policy on using this tileset in an open source game?

my policy is: have fun with this tileset!
